About Electrical Engineering of Fort Pierce

I am Timothy C. Trewyn, (pronounced TREE win) PE FL 61580, electrical engineer.  My focus is on preparing electrical plans for obtaining building permits for commercial and industrial clients.  Now and then I do residences that have high amperage services and large amounts of equipment such as standby generators or other special conditions.  I have performed 40-year electrical inspections for properties in Miami-Dade and advisory electrical inspections in the local area.  I prefer job locations in St. Lucie, Martin, and Indian River Counties because I can promptly respond to requests for field visits.

My schedule is usually full with 8 weeks of work.  I have regular clients that get priority attention.  If you just have a 10 minute or less topic, I generally will address it immediately upon finding it in my email.  Anything longer needs to go in the project management schedule.  I generally do not give a date certain for completion of your project.  I will update you on my progress.  Generally, if you need a project done in less than 4 weeks, then you should check with my other colleagues in the area first.

If I agree to bid on your project, then I will send you a written, professional services agreement.  It is very important that we agree on the scope of work and the deliverables.  My fee includes client feedback on progress reports and one cycle of client changes to the final check set of the plans.  Owner changes after my signing, sealing and delivering the plans will incur an additional fee per the terms set in the professional services agreement.  There is no additional fee if the jurisdiction reviewing my plans requires any changes, and I pledge to make those changes promptly.
